David J Bohm

The word quantum has been deployed all over the place when seeking information on the true nature of consciousness and I thought the science behind a quantum discovery would be a good place to start the ball rolling here.

David Joseph Bohm and Yakir Aharonov's quantum hypothesis states that a quantum force can have a large effect even when its intensity is very small. This hypothesis became an accepted theory after Bohm and one of his students, Aharonov designed an experiment in 1959 that showed how a magnetic field could affect a region of space in which the field had been shielded.

quantum image chartThis is now known as the Abaronov-Bohm effect. I sometimes wonder why it's not called the Bohm-Abaronov effect, but it's scientific proof that classical physics is not an accurate picture of this big puzzle we live in. These anomalies are what stimulate my curiosity and pull me deeper into a world of information that is more and more leading me to the uncomfortable conclusion that the current way we look at reality is incomplete and in need of new data.

This blog will consist of the really interesting and head scratching anomalies that have somehow made their way onto my path of observation and questioning. The intention is to act as an ongoing journal for this part of my journey and to hopefully stimulate debate and conversation from those who are ready to increase their awareness and understanding and perhaps move to a higher level of consciousness where we can begin to see the world with our whole being and not just the two eyes in our head, which are notorious for being easy to fool.

Jason R Dunn fights a Gorn

Jason R Dunn is an amazing artist, film maker, and inventor who is based out of Los Angeles. He's a man of the world who's brave enough to face down a pissed off Gorn with only his bare hands and a basic knowledge of chemistry. He's also the talent behind a stellar piece of art known as "Cosmic Ark", the space ship banner you see at the top of Cosmic Cookout. It's based on an old Atari 2600 game that I remember seeing from afar when I was a kid, but was more into titles like Pitfall and Decathalon at the time. The game was unique for its day due to the theme of saving aliens instead of blowing them up, which I feel resonates with the core mission here at Cosmic Cookout where questions and compassion are favored over control and domination.

Jason's blog is called Robot Rumpus, after a very funny short film he made about a difficult robot going to school for the first time. I would love to see this story of Kidbot go to the big screen someday. Other gems in his blog include some time lapse video of him doing one of his many digital oil paintings and artwork he's done for movies that seem to have gotten lost in a limbo known as the Hollywood dream.

Red Ice creations team photo

Red Ice Creations.com is the first alternative research website I'm reviewing here because they are in my opinion the best. I've been a subscriber for the past 5 months and can honestly say the monthly fee of about 7 bucks feels like one of the better education and entertainment values available in this field. It's really tough to sort through some of the piles of disinformation out there and when I first came upon Red Ice I was immediately skeptical when I saw the highly refined format the website is presented in. It seemed too good to be true and I wondered if some big corporation was behind all the style. They have the last year of first hour interviews available for free, and I started off by skimming through that section and listening to the interviews from researchers I was more familiar with. It hooked me right away.

Henrik Palmgren is the founder, editor, researcher, film maker, artist, musician, and voice behind the interviews and films available on the site. He's put together an impressive team that consists of his brother Fredrik, Lana Lokteff and Elizabeth Leafloor. What pushed me over the fence from being a casual free listener to a dues paying subscriber was the Rik ClayRik Clay story. This was an energetic and enthusiastic young man Henrik had interviewed relating to some fascinating insight he had concerning the upcoming London Olympics and its strange logo. The story ends with the tragedy of Rik's suicide, which was followed by reports that the conditions around his death were suspicious. It's the kind of situation a big corporation would have exploited by implying all sorts of unsavory speculation with the motivation being to entice the listener to subscribe to hear the whole story. Red Ice did nothing of the kind. They made the subscriber portion of Rik Clay's interview available for free, which was a move that won me over and proved from where I'm standing that their intentions are pure and their honor is intact. Rest in peace, Rik.

I could go on about how Henrik takes such good care of his guests and always seems to ask just the right questions while at the same time knowing when to get out of the way and let the information flow, but what would be more productive is for me to suggest a beginning so you can start getting turned on to research you never knew existed. The November 2009 interview with Peter Levenda would be my first choice because Henrik and Peter somehow manage to present some very outlandish material in a grounded fashion that I found stimulating and tasteful. Go next to the recent John Lash interview, which opened my eyes to his MetaHistory.org website where John presents a lifetime worth of research that directly challenges the building blocks of fundamental Christianity in a calm and collected manner.

Kerry and Bill from Camelot disclosure movement

Project Camelot was a social science research project started by the United States Army in 1964 to assess the causes of violent social rebellion and to identify actions a government could take to prevent its own overthrow. The first test case for the project was to be in Chile. It stalled out before it could really get started thanks to a brave sociologist and whistle blower by the name of Johan Galtung, who worked hard to alert Chilean and U. S. social scientists to the projects true nature. Project Camelot got canceled the following year by the Department of Defense under increasing criticism for attempting to subvert social research.

Fast forward almost half a century and you'll find a new Project Camelot founded by Kerry Cassidy and Bill Ryan on the Utopian idea of the Round Table. This modern day Project Camelot is all about getting the truth out by providing a safe place for researchers and whistle blowers to tell their story in a format that is eye catching and entertaining in a non-trivial way.

I've only just discovered the work of Bill and Kerry this past year, but already owe them a debt of gratitude for bringing to light characters and stories I've never heard of. They form a powerful team which emits an even more powerful passion for finding the truth behind such esoteric subjects as extraterrestrial visitation, time travel, mind control, and classified advanced technologies. A great place to begin experiencing the Camelot Effect would be Ralph Ring portrait closeupthe Ralph Ring interview. Ralph is a brilliant innovative technician who worked closely with Otis T. Carr, who was himself a protege of the great inventor Nikola Tesla. This is a fascinating interview being given away for free by Kerry and Bill, which should provide an insight behind the motivations of Project Camelot. They fund the program out of their own pockets and donations, so if you'd like to see more high quality interviews like Ralph's then maybe you might consider donating to what I see as a worthy cause.

 Concious Media Network

Regina and Scott Meredith are the force behind the Concsious Media Network, a website that features four new interviews each month from some of the most interesting minds connected to the field of consciousness studies. Each interview is like a juicy sample snack of what new and/or old concept the author or film maker is exploring and is a great way to taste a book and its essence before dedicating your valuable time and resources to it.

The Jim Marrs and Bob Dean interviews are a great introduction to the fantastic insight each of these men brings to the table. Regina seems to ask just the right questions, which pays off with some real mouth-dropping revelations from both of these guys.

Credit goes to Lucy Pringle for the 2002 double spiral Crop Circle photo. Check out her website for an impressive amount of research and pictures of Crop Circles dating back to the early 1990s.

Jan Irvin and sacred mushroom

Jan Irvin of GnosticMedia.com is clearly one of the hardest working researchers in the expanding culture of consciousness. The Gnostic Media podcast brings together leading independent and academic scholars to focus in on subjects like shamanism, entheogens, religion, archaeoastronomy, fertility cults, and so much more.

I'm really excited about his most recent direction of focus towards the area of education. It's a complex subject, and he's taking the time to build a foundation of facts on how and why our current state of academic learning for the masses is in such poor condition.

A good place to begin unraveling the mess of modern education is the Gene Odening interview that delves into some of the meat behind concepts like critical thinking and logic. The number 2 installment of Peace Revolution which Jan is hosting at his site and participating in does a great job at setting the ground work for a hypothesis that suggests how critical thinking is being hijacked by a small group of elite families to further their own agenda. This is one of the most lucid and grounded arguments I've heard to date concerning what some call a "hidden" course of action to dumb down America.

popularC-Realm podcast with KMO

The C-Realm podcast represents a water shed moment in my personal search for a better way to explain time and its relation to consciousness. It was my first real dose of true independent media in this field and was instrumental in pointing out a whole host of personalities that were also on a path towards the same frequency of truth. KMO helped me to realize that I wasn't alone in this quest and his creative style serves as one of the major inspirations behind the Cosmic Cookout website.

 Neil Kramer Serpent Sandwich

Neil Kramer is one of the first talents I discovered through the C-realm podcast, which has several episodes of KMO and Neil discussing such topics as crop circles, zombies, and the existential dangers of watching television.

Neil has been sharing the journey at his blog the Cleaver, which is a great place to start stretching your mind with new ways of looking at reality. I think Neil has an especially calm manner of presenting this type of information in a way that is non threatening and smooth. His Audio Cleaver would be a perfect start for someone who wants to learn more about these topics but is pressed for time. It's a 6 hour CD with large quantities of esoteric knowledge from his outstanding essays dating back to 2006.

The first ARC (Alternative Research Community) convention is being held February 20th, and 21st in Bath, UK, which would be the perfect place to hear Neil give his latest talk titled "Guerrilla Psychonautics" and mingle with other like minded Cosmic Cookout types.

Credit goes to Weewarrior for pointing me in the sky serpent direction for the above image.
