Gnostic Media

Jan Irvin of GnosticMedia.com
is clearly one of the hardest working researchers in the expanding
culture of consciousness. The Gnostic Media podcast
brings together leading independent and academic scholars to focus in
on subjects like shamanism, entheogens, religion, archaeoastronomy,
fertility cults, and so much more.
I'm really excited about his most recent direction of focus towards the
area of education. It's a complex subject, and he's taking the time to
build a foundation of facts on how and why our current state of
academic learning for the masses is in such poor condition.
A good place to begin unraveling the mess of modern education is the Gene
Odening interview that delves into some of the meat behind concepts
like critical thinking and logic. The number 2 installment of Peace
Revolution which Jan is hosting at his site and participating in
does a great job at setting the ground work for a hypothesis that
suggests how critical thinking is being hijacked by a small group of elite families to further their own agenda. This is one of
the most lucid and grounded arguments I've heard to date concerning
what some call a "hidden" course of action to dumb down America.
