Super String Theory
Want to learn a thing or two about time travel, teleportation, or
simultaneous existence? A fun and easy way to make that happen is to
listen to a weekly radio show hosted by Michio
Kaku by the name of Explorations.
Dr. Kaku is a theoretical physicist and my all time favorite popularizer
of science. Many people out there consider him to be towards the top of
the smartest people on the planet list, not just because he looks
good on television, but more for his incredible talent of distilling
down esoteric concepts to a level that's easy to understand and fun to
listen to.
In November of 2007 he reaffirmed his belief on the Coast to Coast
radio show that there is a 100 percent probability of extraterrestrial
life out there in the universe. It might be the most grounded statement
on life beyond our planet, but Michio is quick to point out the vast
distances between possible locations and doesn't seem to put much
credibility to the hypothesis that other life forms have already
visited Earth and may be watching us right now.
Explorations is a great place to stay up to date on the latest
developments in science, technology, politics, and the environment. You
can actually feel your brain expanding as his words add more
understanding to a world view that is becoming more and more complete
with each episode.
Humor credit goes to David
Farley and his Doctor Fun web comic series.
