Transcendental food for the mind
I
recently treated myself to neil kramer's audio cleaver CD and have been enjoying every
track.
It's like a map that can help you navigate ancient pathways of esoteric
knowledge with an easy to understand modern context.
This is a great tool that can
help you digest why it's so important to unplug from whatever control
system you've chosen and embrace a reality where you take complete
responsibility for the world you create.
You can go to Neil Kramer's blog and read all of these essays for
free, but I recommend taking it to the next level with the audio
cleaver, which gives you a sense of auditory empathy that in my opinion
should not be underestimated. It also gives you a warm fuzzy
feeling inside knowing you've helped support his work, which will go
towards future distilling of knowledge as he continues to surf the Eschaton.

Science is rather almost an antithesis to a belief system. Because it not only requires you to find a hypothesis (an idea or belief) but also proof of the correctness of that idea.
Science also evolves. It is not cast in stone. If a new hypothesis fits the facts better than the previous dominant theory, it becomes the new dominant theory. (note the difference between hypothesis and theory. In science a theory is a hypothesis supported by evidence)
A case in point is the theory of gravity. Einstein's theory is more accurate than Newton's. But in our daily lives on Earth the differences are so vanishingly small that the much simples Newtonian theory is still taught and used to great effect.
From lawfulrebellion.org:
Bullshit. I learned about electricity in what we call secondary school (highschool is the US term, I think?). It does not require "years on end" to understand.
Displaying one's ignorance is a very poor argument to disprove anything.
Photons are just one kind of particle in the standard model. There are many others. The author is also mashing up wave-particle duality and a twisted version of the uncertainty principle. They are related only in that they are both part of quantum mechanics.
