image montage of behind bars in prison

In my opinion Freedom is one of the most basic and beautiful experiences on the planet.

It is also my opinion that our prison and sentencing system in America is very broken and in dire need of attention.

I've been trying to stay up to date on some of the basic facts, and one good source for information on this topic is PrisonReformMovement.com.

PrisonReformMovement.com is an excellent blog that draws upon multiple sources for some of the issues mainstream media won't touch.

Truth on a road sign in New Mexico

I've been a subscriber to Whitley Strieber's Unknown Country for a couple of weeks now and have been very much enjoying his huge archive of excellent interviews.

The monthly fee is half of what most places are charging and you get what in my opinion is over twice the dedication and attention to detail. Mr Stieber not only reads the books of the people he interviews but he really seems to comprehend the big picture in a way that draws on decades of experience in uncovering the layers of deception that guard some of the more esoteric truths that his DreamLand show explores.

He also has a talent for having experts interviewing experts. The show with Peter Levenda interviewing Joseph P Farrell about Nazi time travel technology was worth the subscription price alone.

Whitley Strieber's Dreamland podcast

I had a strange reaction to Whitley Strieber's "true" account of his encounters with some sort of alien entity in his book "Communion" back in the late 1980's. Normally I would have been intrigued about any tale with such an unknown factor, but something about his story struck me as a bit too convenient and lucrative to get past my young and immature P.T. Barnum filter.

Fast forward over 20 years and Mr Strieber is still exploring the unkown with his excellent podcast called Dream Land.

I'm still new to the Dream Land podcast, but I'm already impressed with his interview style that goes way beyond what other similar shows produce. I'm ready to admit I was wrong about him back in 1988 when I was a 19 year old sailor without enough data to give his information a fair shake.

Add to that a weekly 30 minute show by William Henry and you've got something worth checking out in my opinion.

United Nations dowsing in Africa image

man who is dowsing
I've been enjoying my paid subscription to Mel Fabregas's Veritas show so much that I switched over to the recuring payment method to make sure I don't miss anything.

I'm really impressed with the direction he's taking the show and look forward to future interviews with researcher and author Graham Hancock and also Norman Bergrun, the guy behind the intriguing "Ring Makers of Saturn" book.

If that wasn't enough now there's a Veritas TV feature with over 30 exclusive videos he's made while attending various events in this field.

One of the videos is a full lecture by
Dr. Claude Swanson on some fascinating science that has been done lately concerning the paranormal. I was especially excited to hear his take on a 10 year study done by the German government to determine if dowsing could be a viable way of finding water in Africa.

Corey Sauer is funny and wittyThe concept of an "ego" has been something I've been trying to get my mind more fully around lately.

"Who Do You Think You Are?" is a new documentary that attempts to flesh out some of the finer points of this topic by using several well chosen clips from key Hollywood films to make a point that is worth checking out.

It seems from my perspective that the ego is responsible for creating a customized, artificial world designed to distract us from our purpose in life.

matrix red/blue pill close up

Sofia red ice collageRed Ice Creations did an interesting interview recently with Sophia Stewart: The true mother of the Matrix.

She makes the claim that Hollywood has not denied the accusation and once the F.B.I. got involved she says it was revealed that the Terminator movies were also stolen from her 1981 novel titled "The Third Eye".

My instincts are telling me this story goes beyond common greed, which is why I'll be keeping a close eye on Sophia Stewart's case.

check out check the evidence

I'm often surprised at how spot on Mel Fabregas is with his guest selection and how the people he interviews that I've not heard of always seem to be of a frequency that resonates with my Cosmic Cookout direction.

The Veritas interview with Andrew Johnson was another great discusion that connected some interesting dots concerning anti-gravity technolgy and the events of September 11th 2001. Mr Johnson is one of the first investigators to seriously look at the evidence of Dr Judy Wood and her directed energy beam hypothesis, which to me shows his level of openness.

Registering on his site is free and worth it due to the additional audio archive you get access to. It's safe and spam free with hours of intriguing interviews that I've found enlightening and educational.

Ben Stewart close up

Ben Stewart has crafted a video titled
Kymatica that has somehow transformed itself into a Movie...a film that has the power to open your eyes to why and how your every day thoughts and actions affect your consciousness, which in turn creates what we call reality.

I especially like Mr Stewart's choice in soundtrack, which he does himself with a talented musician named Dahli. Come to think of it buying one of his MP3's might be a good way of supporting this kind of original work.

Tom is the guy behind this huge wealth of information, and he's kindly made his book "Fringe Knowledge for Beginners" available for free as a PDF download. He wrote the book to bring his younger brothers up to speed on the research he's been doing, which directly connects to the Cosmic Cookout mission of distilling down heavy topics within a brief post designed to invite the reader to dig deeper.

Montalk.net has long been a favorite stop for me when I find myself in the mood for deep essays on esoteric subjects.

Hollow Earth Theory Photo Montage

Have you considered theories of our Earth being hollow as absurd and too fantastic and half baked to take serious? I did until I started learning about Dr Brooks Agnew and his upcoming expedition to find out if there is indeed an opening to the Inner Earth.

The concept of a hidden world beneath the surface can be found in many cultures and traditional folk tales.

This short video breaks down Dr Agnew's model in an easy to understand visual manner.

The expedition is scheduled for the summer of 2010, so perhaps we won't have to wait much longer to find out if this fantastic idea has any merit. If you find yourself wanting more information after this one I suggest checking out an excellent interview done by Mel Fabregas with Brooks Agnew on the Veritas show. Dr Agnew describes his hypothesis of attempting to use the combined consciousness of the crew to activate some sort of entranceway or opening once his ship arrives at the North Pole. He claims there will be a live video feed which will be streaming 24 hours during the 2 week journey, which sounds intriguing.

Kaku Super String

Want to learn a thing or two about time travel, teleportation, or simultaneous existence? A fun and easy way to make that happen is to listen to a weekly radio show hosted by Michio Kaku by the name of Explorations.

Dr. Kaku is a theoretical physicist and my all time favorite popularizer of science. Many people out there consider him to be towards the top of the smartest people on the planet list, not just because he looks good on television, but more for his incredible talent of distilling down esoteric concepts to a level that's easy to understand and fun to listen to.

In November of 2007 he reaffirmed his belief on the Coast to Coast radio show that there is a 100 percent probability of extraterrestrial life out there in the universe. It might be the most grounded statement on life beyond our planet, but Michio is quick to point out the vast distances between possible locations and doesn't seem to put much credibility to the hypothesis that other life forms have already visited Earth and may be watching us right now.

Explorations is a great place to stay up to date on the latest developments in science, technology, politics, and the environment. You can actually feel your brain expanding as his words add more understanding to a world view that is becoming more and more complete with each episode.

Tragedy and Hope

Sometimes a book has so much knowledge and perspective it can take on a life of its own. Tragedy and Hope seems to be one of those books.
John Taylor Gatto
The first I've heard of the story behind this book was a recent interview done by Gnostic Media with education reform expert John Taylor Gatto. He points out the connection between its author Carroll Quigley and former president Bill Clinton, but the part that caught my attention is the obvious suppression of this particular book and how Mr Gatto had to end up obtaining a pirated copy for 50 bucks. He goes on to illustrate how he has since surveyed several libraries in major cities only to discover that each branch is missing their copy of this book.

John Taylor Gatto speculates that this form of censorship happens with other books that get too close to the truth and are gradually removed from circulation. It's hard to dismiss such an outlandish theory when it comes from a respectable source such as Mr Gatto.

Thanks to the internet you can download and read this book without paying 50 bucks. Check out Tragedy and Hope.com for a free copy and decide for yourself if Carroll Quigley's version of history is worthy of such a high level of censorship.

Veritas radio show photo montage

I've only been a subscriber to the Veritas show for two weeks now and I'm already wondering why it took me so long to discover this treasure trove of knowledge.

Mel Fabregas is the force behind this truth machine. His central motto, which he borrowed from Jordan Maxwell, should tell you everything you need to know.

"I am an ordinary man pursuing extraordinary knowledge."

His three hour interview with trial lawyer and environmental scholar Andrew D. Basiago is in my opinion the best one out there with this guy. The story is nothing less than incredible and Mel asked some very astute questions which really helped to flesh this story out a bit more than other radio hosts have done in the past. Mr Basiago claims to have photographic evidence of life on Mars, but the real fantastic part of the story is his participation in a program called Project Pegasus along with the claim of making two separate trips to Mars using Tesla teleportation technology. I'm a bit skeptical of these claims and wonder why Mr Basiago didn't have the foresight to take some sort of camera with him when he "telelported" to Mars and back with his CIA escort.

At 8 dollars a month I call the Veritas show a solid value. Add to that his frequently updated blog and members forum and you've got yourself a better deal than most entertainment choices out there.

truth frequency radio podcast

Truth Frequency Radio.com is hosted by a dynamic duo that bring a much needed balance of male and female energy to a table that in the past has too often been dominated by men.

Chris Geo and Sheree have an obvious chemistry that complements each other in just the right places for a tight and informative radio experience.

I especially enjoyed their recent in depth conversation with the legendary Jordan Maxwell.

What stands out most about these two is their level of passion and knowledge. They've done some serious research and it shows in the thoughtful and informative questions being presented to an impressive list of fascinating guests.

Truth Frequency Radio combines original music with fantastic ideas to form a special edge that can't be found anywhere else. I appreciate the chances they take and will be paying close attention to how this team progresses in the future.

Zapruder Ruby Tippit connection photo montage

I heard a new twist on one of the JFK conspiracy wrinkles today that caused me to pause and ponder if it might be true.

The interview was between Mel Fabregas and Ralph Epperson on the Veritas radio show.

Mr Epperson briefly touches on some of the findings he presents in his video titled "The driver shot Kennedy!" The detail that caught my attention is the implication that somehow Abraham Zapruder, the man who captured the event on film, had previous knowledge of the assassination and was there that day to document it with his Bell and Howell 8 mm movie camera. Ralph goes on to point out how Mr Zapruder asked his secretary who was named Marilyn Sitzman to stand on a concrete pad with him to hold him from behind in case he got dizzy.
Jack Ruby in background at Carousel strip club
Ralph Epperson speculates that Mr Zapruder was attempting to compensate for the anticipated gun shot and the jerking action it might cause by having Marilyn Sitzsman steady him from behind. A clear viewing of the film points out that Abraham Zapruder held the camera steady and true at the exact moment of the first gun shot and subsequent shots.

This does strike me as unusual, although I'm not sure what a normal reaction might be for such an event. What really caught my attention is the accusation that Abraham Zapruder was known to be in the company of Jack Ruby and Officer J.D. Tippit at Jack's Carousel Club strip joint.

Is it possible Officer Tippit was sent to take out Lee Harvey Oswald and instead was killed during the altercation? It's clear the facts around J.D. Tippit's death are fuzzy and eye witness accounts of the shooting have been called into question after the fact. Take that with the fact from Tippit's Wikipedia page that he was also working 2 part time jobs in addition to being a full time police officer at the time. His salary was $5,880 which compares to over $41,000 today. Although it's not uncommon for police officers to work other part time jobs it does beg the question as to why his middle class wage wasn't enough? Keep in mind that he grew up on a farm and according to the Tippit website he was known to say "working 2 or 3 jobs was nothing compared to walking behind a plow".

Photo credit goes to erichufschmid.net for the above image which is an actual shot from Jack Ruby's bar. You can go to his site to see an incredible blow up of the right hand corner that reveals Jack Ruby with a few other noteworthy characters which was taken jd tippitfrom Robert Groden's book about Oswald.

The other photos are thanks to wikipedia and the official J.D. Tippit website which is a beautiful tribute to a man who was a war hero from World War 2 and a family man that left behind several who cared deeply for him.

Rest in peace J.D. Tippit and everybody else known and unknown that got too close to this temporal distortion.

Vigilante Citizen review blog entry

If you're like me you've been scratching your head lately at all the bizarre imagery that's been coming out of the music industry and asking yourself if there's more here than just over the top visuals and marketing gimmicks.

The high strangeness starts to make a bit more sense when you look at it in light of occult symbolism and secret society rituals the way Vigilant Citizen has done. He or she is a self proclaimed music industry insider who has taken on the mission of exposing these practices for what they really are.

It's a good place to go if you're at all interested in learning what some of these weird messages might be attempting to communicate. A good example is the Kayne interruption of Taylor Swift's speech at the MTV music awards. Vigilant Citizen's take on the situation is definitely food for thought. I copied part of it here without permission.

This scene is in fact Taylor Swift’s initiation into what I call “The Circle of Chosen Artists”. The pupil is humiliated in front of her peers and told that she is not worthy to be on the same stage as Beyonce, the queen of the ceremony.  Almost all groups, fraternities and gangs carry out an initiation process to test the recruit’s character, strength and worth.

Vigilant Citizen updates often and has become the first place I visit to stay up to date on what the powers that be have in store for us next when it comes to pop culture and it's effect on today's music listening public.

 moon rising Jose

You can now watch Jose Escamilla's documentary "Moon Rising" for free at his Youtube channel which was my first exposure to his latest line of research.

It's a well done film that brings up several anomalies dealing with the moon and the official NASA story.

I'm not on board with his space elevator hypothesis, but sometimes to unravel a mystery it helps to throw several things against the wall to see if any of them stick.

Moon Rising is the most recent and well articulated statement on the mystery of what's really going on up there on the moon. Some of the photo analysis might seem to be reaching too far, but it feels like the film maker's motivation and intent are coming from a place of genuine investigation.

Lorenzo Hagerty with Bruce Damer and Acid Placid

The Pyschedelic Salon podcast hosted by Lorenzo Hagerty is probably the best place to get straight information on the early history and modern happenings of consciousness exploration.

Lorenzo is providing a valuable service by sorting through old lecture tapes of pioneers like Terrence McKenna, Timothy Leary, and Robert Anton Wilson to name a few. He's built an awesome archive of over 200 episodes where he presents a chunk of information from the past and introduces it in a way that calms and excites at the same time.

The Salon is a great place to stay up to date on the latest developments in this community and hear from new voices and some of the places they've discovered.

 SomaFM radio secrets revealed?

Neil Kramer has once again produced another outstanding essay in his ongoing series dealing with the psychological and existential health benefits of breaking away from mainstream society.

It's titled the "Deep Joy of De-Normalizing" and Neil goes in to some serious depth on the subject while providing a convincing argument of why you should never watch television again.

Leave it to Neil to provide an interesting and original alternative with his SomaFM internet radio link on his sidebar. Music devoid of anything mainstream with the bonus of zero commercials. It's listener supported so if you find yourself liking it more than sliced bread don't be surprised if you feel an urge to donate a small chunk to this thriving community of musicians.

Norway Spiral/stargate/black hole and Obama connection

What does the Norwegian spiral anomaly from December of 2009, Obama's nobel peace prize, and evidence of a directed energy beam being deployed on 911 have in common?

Richard Hoagland's website is the place to go for an in depth analysis of this amazing story that seems to be getting stranger by the day.

I have to admit I'm intrigued by Hoagland's speculation on the timing of President Obama's sudden cancellation of major NASA projects like going back to the moon and Mars while at the same time increasing their yearly budget. The implication is a possible connection to this Norway event and how it may have been a show of power from a more hidden and advanced space program being controlled by post World War 2 Nazi groups.

The story sounds fantastic, but Richard Hoagland draws upon many resources and writers including Cosmic Cookout favorite Joesph P Farrell to put together a compelling case that only seems to point to a much stranger future than any of us could have imagined for this upcoming year of 2010.

Doug Lain is the Diet Soap podcast

Douglas Lain is a fiction writer who has built an impressive collection of interviews at his Diet Soap podcast. I've watched the show grow from figuring out he needs a USB microphone back in episode number 6 to being what I consider a serious voice for the consciousness culture in just under a year's time.

I especially enjoyed his 3 part conversation with Neil Kramer where they brought up the concept of an artificial control network and freely came to the conclusion that they are both still plugged into this mysterious and ancient form of bondage.

In my opinion Douglas Lain is one of the more grounded personalities in this field and his curiosity and sense of humor makes the show a stimulating experience well worth downloading.

  Martin Ball's new book 2010

Martin W. Ball has created in my opinion a masterpiece with his new book titled Being Human: an Entheological Guide to God, Evolution, and the Fractal Energetic Nature of Reality.

The title is ambitious and bold. Nothing less than a Grand Unified Theory of Reality that accounts for the physical world and how it connects to personal consciousness.

I was expecting the usual New Age god talk to explain such a far out concept but was met with a very calm and coherent argument that provided a fresh and fascinating new perspective on the evolution of our species. I'm especially intrigued with Dr Ball's concept of infinity loops and how he uses the model to effectively explain his use of the term fractal energy and how it relates to reality.

This incredible revelation is the direct result of Dr Ball's intensive work exploring his energy and consciousness with entheogenic medicines such as Ayahuasca and 5-MeO-DMT. Section three of Being Human provides some excellent details on these two medicines along with specific information on psilocybin mushrooms and Salvia divinorum.

Being Human delivers a simple, easy to follow guide on how to use and understand entheogenic medicines that is completely free of metaphysics or religious dogma. I highly recommend reading this book if you are at all interested in learning how your consciousness can be expanded through the use of these unique and mysterious plants and mushrooms. I can't help but to wonder what kind of world we would be in today if this kind of information was presented in Health class back in High School?

The amazing fractal image is from Phidelity.com, a site worth checking out for treating your eyes to some truly wonderful visuals and perhaps the best fractal blog on the web at this time.

  Peter Levenda image collage 2010

I first discovered Peter Levenda when he did his latest 2009 Red Ice Creations interview and he's been on my radar ever since. Derek and Sharon Gilbert also have a nice collection of free interviews with Levenda spanning several years. It's some fascinating material that has put his Sinister Forces trilogy towards the top of a list of books I'd like to get my hands on this year. Peter has some interesting posts on his blog, the latest of which comments on the strange statements that continue to be made by Pat Robertson on his 700 club news show. The most recent slur was towards the suffering victims of the Haiti earthquake and how he speculates the reason for this disaster was a "pact with the devil" that the people of Haiti somehow entered in to at some point in the past. Yes....he actually said this on a show aimed towards Christians.

Levenda puts a fascinating spin on this story by suggesting that it's Robertson who has actually made the pact with the devil and builds his case based on published reports from Time magazine in volume 2 chapter 15 of his Sinister Forces trilogy. Peter points to the support Robertson has given to murderous thugs such as Taylor from Liberia, Chiluba of Zambia, and Mobutu of Zaire. The accusation is that Robertson used these connections and alliances along with his Operation Blessings charity as a conduit for conflict diamonds.

I have not read the Time magazine information yet, but Levenda is clearly not a crackpot. I wished I could say the same for Robertson, I once looked up to this man during my early days of Christianity.
